Aurecon's Your Move Champion

I would like to introduce Sonja Stemler, Aurecon’s Perth office Your Move champion. Sonja is a keen cyclist and passionate about sustainable travel.

Sonja joined our transport planning team just over a year ago and recently brought the idea of joining Your Move to our Sustainability Committee. She shows such enthusiasm for the program that it is contagious. Sonja has been the sole driver of Aurecon’s involvement in Your Move, devising a number of activities to encourage and motivate staff to engage in active travel. During October’s Bike Month, Sonja has happily imparted her wisdom and eagerness for active travel during end of trip facility tours, a bike safety workshop and an active travel booth. Despite her busy workload, she gives up her own time to plan and communicate Your Move activities.

Aurecon’s sustainability aspiration is to build a long-term, sustainable business that serves our employees, clients, shareholders and the communities in which we operate and Sonja is certainly playing her part in that!
