In the first issue this term, the newsletter gave the community, parents and families the results from the Hands Up survey that was conducted at the end of Term 1.

We also included how the results have changed from the previous hands up survey.

What a great start to 2021 everyone, these numbers definitely show that we are reducing the number of cars around our school. Nice work Caladenia! Let’s see if we can continue to improve those results for the next survey. Remember that Walk Safely to School Day is on Friday 14th May.

We also included a photo of our new accreditation board, where we received a Bronze sticker for 2020. Caladenia is wondering if we'll make it to GOLD this year?

Lastly, we informed families about National Walk Safely to School Day on Friday 14th May in the newsletter.

Great update Nicolle! Those are some positive results and wonderful that you took the opportunity to share them with the school community as well as to celebrate your achievement of Bronze accreditation level. You have earned 22 points for you newsletter article in Term 2, 15 points for celebrating your accreditation and a bonus 10 for giving us a great read. I look forward to hearing how your W2SD goes!
