The City of Rockingham is planning some cycling activities over the month of October to celebrate WA Bike Month 2022.
The proposed activities include Children's learn to ride sessions, Bike maintenance workshops and Adult bike skills refresher workshop.

The Bike maintenance workshop is planned for the City's Youth Centre to target those aged 12 - 24 to encourage active transport to school, work, Tafe or University.
The Children's cycling session target the early years ago group to promote safe riding from a young age.
The adult cycling refresher workshop help those adults who haven't ridden in a while and even those who have never ridden a bike!

The City is excited to put these activities on for the Rockingham community to encourage and promote active transport around the City. The City has applied for a Bike Month grant from the Department of Transport to help fund these activities if secured.

Great to hear your planning update for the 3rd quarter Kieran - you earned 15 points for sharing these outcomes of your planning sessions during the quarter (did you know that you can do that each quarter?). It looks like it is going to be an exciting Bike Month in Rockingham 😊. You also earned 40 points for applying for that grant (fingers crossed 🤞) and 10 points for the details of your plans. You are now only one activity away from being eligible to win those 500 points!
