Crosswalk Attendants

The students decided that with the addition of a third crosswalk, which was new at the beginning of this term, crosswalk attendants should be added to help students riding their bikes or scooter remember to slow down or stop at in the new area.

Students spoke to a staff member who provided vests and a sign for the crosswalk attendants to use.

This position has become extremely popular and students are lining up to be a crosswalk attendant during Wheels Days.

The sign has slow on one side to remind students to slow down when approaching a crosswalk, and stop on the other side to indicate to students to stop as staff or students need to cross the crosswalk.
