The year 5 and 6 students participated in Skateboarding Sessions for the first time.
Three 1 hour skateboarding sessions were organised for both year 5/6 classes via rewards earned in 2019 through "Your Move".Three members from Skateboarding WA visited the school. They supplied skateboards and helmets to the students.
Students had the option of bringing their own from home if they wished to.The students started on the oval to learn the basics and then moved to the tennis courts to continue their practice.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions.Many students stated they were changing their Christmas lists to add Skateboards for Christmas.
Both classes are really looking forward to the following two sessions.
