Last Friday, Millen PS held Walk to School Day. Over 200 students, parents and teachers joined in, with many taking the opportunity to complete extra laps of the oval for Running Club.
On arrival all students received a sticker and an entry into the draw for a prize such as vouchers, bike bells and water bottles which were delivered on the day by our Year 6 Millen Movers.
Overall the day was great success with one parent commenting that “It was really quiet, car wise, around the school today” and another saying “it was lovely to see so many people walking to school”.
