2nd Place! Your Move / City of Stirling Competition!!

A massive 208 Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) parents signed up for the City of Stirling (CoS) / Department of Transport’s (DoT) Your Move competition. This is an impressive effort! MLPS did not win the ultimate $3,500 prize package, however, we won in numbers and the huge community spirit / support we received!

The aim of the competition was for parents to register into the Your Move program so that CoS & the DoT could gauge peoples commuting habits within the CoS locality. Parents received FREE bags, smart riders, information, towels and many more freebies. MLPS had lots of support through its volunteers and teachers. These are some of the promotions undertaken by the school community:

• Placing articles in several of the fortnightly newsletters;
• Posting several promotions on the P&C’s Facebook page;
• Providing info of the competition at the information Brekky event;
• Communicating the competition at MLPS Parent Night info sessions; and
• Sourcing extra parent registrations at the school gates! 😉
