Success!!!! Year 1 Bike Ed Session Underway

The Year 1 bike education sessions have been a huge success. All of us at MLPS look forward to the Year 1 bike education sessions at the beginning of each year, the kids, parents and teachers love it. We have completed 2 of the 4 sessions thus far with some of the kids previously unable to ride without training wheels already riding confidently and independently without them. The opportunity for the kids to practice and learn safe riding road signals has been invaluable, the sessions create excitement and awareness of safe riding and also encourages our kids and parents to ride to school as an alternative & sustainable means of getting to and from school each day.
