On 26 August 2020, Mount Lawley Primary School (MLPS) 'Parked it for the Planet' to help reduce carbon emissions!! This initiative was promoted by 'Bicycle Network' and inspired from the 'ABC’s Fight for Planet A' series. For more info, check this link out:
MLPS advertised the event in its newsletter, on its official Face Book page and 'Connect' notice app to encourage the school community to ride, walk and scoot. A couple of children even skated to school! See some of the promotional material and photos below.
Ever since MLPS has registered in the Your Move program, there's been a definite increase to the change in travel behaviour. This has been noticed by the Principal, parents and kids!!
