Bike Education for our Pre Primary Students

Mel Vivian
98

Our student leaders have been learning about bike safety in class. Today they took our Pre Primary students in a Bike Education session to learn the basic road rules on their tricycles.

Students put their helmets on and learnt about the different road signs, how to safely give way and where to stop. After being educated as a group students where given the opportunity to practice these road rules around our road track under the guidance of our student leaders.

I love how you have built the capacity of your student leaders to help delivery practical road safety lessons, Mel! I have relinked your story to the related "Road Safety" activity, which earns you 60 points for Term 2. You also earned 10 points for giving us a great story and another 15 for your innovating capacity building.

Thanks for sorting the activity links! The only people who love the bike tracks more than the pre-primaries are the student leaders - I think we need to invest in some bigger bikes!
