World Bicycle Day

Yesterday we celebrated World Bicycle Day - thankfully the rain held off for awhile!!

We let everyone know of the event via our social media & Class Dojo, and it was great to see so many participating despite the chilly weather. With our bike maintenance day coming up, courtesy of the Bike Dr, lots of our kids have dusted off their wheels to get moving and grooving (yippee!).

Each student who rode, walked, or scootered to school was treated to a yummy breakfast at our Breakfast Bowl, and were entered in a prize draw to win a beautiful new Your Move umbrella. We handed out a whopping 24 umbrellas to our lucky recipients, who will use the umbrellas to safely and comfortably walk to school in these winter months

Looks like I'll need to be placing another umbrella order soon!!
