Noranda Primary School hosted its first Your Move event of 2024.Ride2School on the 22nd of March which is a nationwide program delivered by Bicycle Network, designed to support schools to encourage, empower and enable more students to get physically active on their journey to school.
We were thrilled to see 115 students opt for active modes of transportation such as riding, scooting, or skating to school. Those who chose to ride were rewarded with stickers, fruit, yogurt, juice boxes, and a raffle ticket, with winners receiving books about active travel at assembly. Congratulations to the 2024 Your Move team for orchestrating such a successful inaugural event. We eagerly anticipate what Term 2 has in store!
