2024 Event Planning

This term our Your Move team got together to make a plan on how and when we will focus on active transport events throughout the year.

This year North Morley is going to run the following events:

Term 1 – Ride2 School – Dress Up Your Bike for Harmony Day
Term 2 – National Walk Safely to School Day
Term 3 – Winter Walk to School Day
Term 4 – Bike Month

In the lead up to each event we will run a 2-week competition, encouraging active transport. All students that walk ride or roll to school go into the draw to win prizes. The Faction Captains run these events, engaging the students, and encouraging participation. Throughout the duration these events are promoted through our school website, assemblies, and both our family and community Facebook groups.

We have had lots of enthusiastic students participating in this terms event in the lead up to Ride2School Day.

There will be lots of fantastic prizes to be won, generously donated by Your Move from a grant accessed at the end of last year.
