The Year 4 Your Move team made posters to display around the school, to encourage everyone to ride, walk, skate or scooter to school for National Ride2School Day. We used an added incentive of a scooter, as the main prize for all active participants, to be drawn at the next assembly. What a turnout! Our bike racks were overflowing with 30 bikes and 15 scooters. We also used the data as a maths lesson and found 71% of the 10 classes surveyed, left the car at home today. The Yr 4 Your Move team, took the lead with 95% of active travel today. What an outstanding result Yr 4s!

What a successful day Ruth! 71% overall and 95% in one class is a very impressive result for the day. I love that photo of all the bikes under the tree! You have earned 40 points for the event, plus 10 for the good read, and another 10 for sharing your participation rates - well done!
