The Year 4's at Osborne Primary handed out a parent survey to the oldest child in each family. We then collated the information provided by the parents. 48% of children live within 1km of the school and 34% live between 1 and 2 km. Parents are happy for Osborne to become an Active school but think Road Safety Education is important as well.

Hi Ruth - well it is great news for Osborne PS that you have a relatively local catchment. In principle you could say that 48% of children live within walking distance of school and 82% live close enough to ride. That puts you in a great position to be promoting active travel as a viable and fun way to get to school. It is also very good news that parents are supportive of the school helping their students become more active! You have earned 60 points for conducting your first parent survey.
