Hands Up Survey 2024

We held our first survey for 2024 and compared the results from 2023 and noticed we have an increase of students being driven to school by 29%. We feel this was because of our extreme heat in the first few weeks of term this year.

Our biggest decrease was children cycling/scooting to school by -42%. This is a big eye opener and we have now decided our first Activity will be the National Ride to School Day in March. We are looking forward to more students riding to school and accessing our covered bike racks.

Hi Vanya - and a big welcome back for the new year 🤗. Yes the heat seems to be impacting a lot on results this year. Great to hear that you have NR2SD in the pipeline to help tackle this decrease in bike use. Thanks for sharing your reflections - that has earned you 10 points!
