This year our school celebrates half a century (or 50 years) & at the same time we celebrate our tenth year (a decade) of being an ACTIVE school (starting off as TravelSmart & then becoming Your Move.) In her wisdom, our Principal, Miss Murray, suggested that the 2 milestones be acknowledged & celebrated concurrently. Were we honoured? You bet! So thank you Miss Murray for including us & thank you Miss Wittber for taking the "steps" to showcase our Teams' achievements during these years on the special "50th" day, happening in Term 2.
The Team has already started thinking about "incidental" activities we might do throughout the rest of the year. For starters, a snippet from our 10 years of ACTION will become a feature of YM assembly reports.
Watch this space sometime in Week 3 when all will be revealed as we walk & ride along the 10 years of our ACTIVE path.
