FFF's continue for Term 4 at Bassendean PS

Tammy McEwan
Bassendean Primary School

Due to overwhelming demand, our FUME FREE FRIDAYS will continue in Term 4. Students have been notified by Connect, posters and PA announcements at school to continue to walk, scoot or ride their bike to school, see Mrs McEwan or her helpers and grab their raffle ticket. All active travelers will go into the random prize draw to win a $5 canteen voucher at the week 3 and 6 assemblies.

Our FFF's appear to be working. By the end of Term 3 we saw a 24% decrease in the number os students being driven to school and an 89% increase in the number of students scootering and riding their bikes to school. Awesome effort by all involved and well done to the families who have jumped on board and supported this important initiative. We even had a class with 95% of their students actively traveling to school...WOOHOO!!!

James (Your Move)

Welcome back for Term 4 with Your Move everyone 😊. Your FFF clearly had a big impact last term - so I can understand why everyone wants to keep it on the agenda! Your results are very exciting and the year 5/6s put in a super effort in the last edition 😁. You have earned 90 points for your first update this term on FFF (you can do the same again later in the term too!), 22 point for including YM in your newsletter and 20 points for sharing all the details.
