Final Ride to School Day for 2021

We had our final Ride to School Day on Friday, 12 November 2021. As has been the case for our seven other Ride to School Days this year, the weather was fully cooperative and the sun was out!. All of our participants in Ride to School were gifted with a water bottle – which we received from the Your Move initiative. On Friday, 19 November, our Your Move champions, along with our State Member of Parliament – Mr Hugh Jones held a raffle draw for all the students who rode their bikes or scooter to school this year. The first prize was a $50 Rebel Sports voucher, Your Move backpack and water bottle and the second and third prize was a Your Move backpack and water bottle. Our Walk to School Day in May and various Ride to School Days throughout the year have been immensely successful with great participation from students and families. We would like to thank Your Move, Mr Hugh Jones, Mrs Tran (Your Move coordinator) and the Your Move champions for all their hard work and effort in helping our students at Beenyup Primary to find fun, safe, sustainable and active ways of getting to school!
