From September to December 2023, the City of Armadale partnered with People on Bicycles to offer a number of bike workshops and a program at City facilities and reserves.

Funded by RAC, five workshops were delivered to 32 participants during this timeframe in Armadale, Kelmscott and Piara Waters. This included two Bike Basics workshops, two Bike Maintenance workshops and one Children Learn to Ride workshop.

These workshops taught participants a number of skills including learning safe riding habits, learning or brushing up on bike riding skills, boosting riding confidence and knowledge, and learning how to take care of your bike.

People on Bicycles also delivered an Adults Learn to Ride program over three weekends in Piara Waters with an average of 9 participants. Participants were very excited with their skill progress and the majority of participants were able to pedal on.

Wonderful to see you back for 2024 Kirsten 😁. Great news that you have partnered up with RAC for this and that it was well supported by the Armadale community. You have earned 50 points for your role in this and 15 points for your story details.
