Active Travel back on the agenda!

Hello! I'm excited to have started at the City of Canning as Sustainability Officer. There has been a bit of a gap between officers looking after active travel at the City, so I'm looking forward to putting it back on the agenda. I think it's really important to practice what you preach - I have an e-bike which I used to ride to my old work most days, though sadly it's too far to ride now. However, I am grateful Canning allows staff to work from home one day a week, and I'm able to carpool most days. I'm really keen to encourage other staff at the City to carpool to work too, and am planning to hold some postcode morning teas to help them make connections. Watch this space!
