Walking Meetings

I recently created a walking meeting map and poster to display around the office to encourage staff to walk during meetings rather than always sitting. This is a small step in the right direction to active travel. We are fortunate at the City of Canning to have beautiful natural areas right on our doorstep! The poster is displayed in most meeting rooms, lunch rooms, and on office noticeboards. This will be promoted more widely to staff in late March/early April, when the weather is more conducive to walking meetings as opposed to hiding in the air-conditioning! I may even run a lunch time walking club or a walking competition if there is interest.
