Coolbinia Primary conducted the Ride 2 School Day before the official day to keep the start of the school day quiet during NAPLAN testing time. Year 4 Your Move leaders completed and displayed promotional posters. PA announcements, plus staff and parent Bulletins also advertised our Ride 2 School Day event.

Raffle tickets were distributed at our school gates in the morning of our special Ride 2 School day, Wednesday 13th March, along with other give-ways like stickers, tattoos and eco tokens. Twenty winning raffle tickets were drawn and prizes were collected at recess. Prizes ranged from bike shop vouchers, bike pumps and bells, as well as books and wrist slap bands.

The event's success was reported in the School Bulletin, along with feedback to the community about the achievements of our 2023 YM program: https://sway.cloud.microsoft/QNWCelOWDq6j5ckL?ref=email

The photos below show the selection of 1st, 2nd & 3rd raffle prizes; the organisation of the boxes ready for the morning at the gates; and the students who managed the gate entries.

Overall a great response to our special event was achieved and everyone enjoyed the day!
