Coolbinia Primary received an exciting surprise ... between the 2022 and 2023 Start-of-the Year surveys we found an 18% increase in walking and 25% increase in cycling! Such good news to start the year!

At the start of 2023 63% of students came to school in a car, compared to 70% at the start of 2022. 14% rode their bikes this year and 11% at the same time last year, while 22% walked in 2023 and 11% in 2022. An increase in the use of public transport was also observed, from 0% in 2022 and 2% in 2023. These are very pleasing findings and hopefully set the trend for the rest of 2023.

Great to see these results roll in Elaine - not only are they pleasantly positive but it means you will now be able to apply for the Superboost rewards 😁. On top of the 50 points you earned when submitting the survey you have just earned another 10 points for your reflections here.
