On Friday 19th March 2021, students at Pine View were encouraged to ride their bikes or scooters to school for Ride2School Day. Lots of students already ride to school, but it was exciting to see some new faces riding bikes and scooters. We had a 94% increase in the number of students who rode to school on this special occasion. Across the whole school we had 42% of students ride a bike or scooter to school. After such a successful Ride2School Day, we hope that students know the value of riding to school and will keep it up throughout the year.

Hello Pine View YM Ambassadors! Wow - a 94% increase is brilliant! If that can happen on one day then there is certainly potential for increases in active travel on a regular basis. You have earned 40 points for your R2SD event plus 10 points for sharing your participation rate. Can you clarify, when you post a story by "G1" or the Your Move Ambassadors, is it the students who have actually written the story? See you soon!
