Our annual Bike Ed lessons began last week with our year 5 & 6 students beginning with a session on Bike Readiness.
Our PE Teacher, Mr Levy, has run Bike Awareness and Road Safety Lessons for years and the Year 5/6s always look forward to it.
The students will be receiving specialised riding instruction on road safety, on road communication and bike control. The culmination will be a bike ride around our school, utilising the local roads and local MTB trails. Exciting!

Hi Mike - it is great to hear that not only are your students getting some very comprehensive bike ed sessions, but that Mr Levy has been rolling these out for several years now. Mr Levy and Walliston PS have just earned 80 points for these sessions 😊. I look forward to hearing how it all goes with the finale ride around the neighbourhood!
